WHAT IS IT?
The FREE 8-week session covers the basics of mixing, scratching, and use of equipment. Workshops are designed for the beginner with little to no experience on digital turntables. The main focus of “Intro to DJing” is to develop hand skills, basic music theory, and experiment with different ways of playing with sound on the turntables.

Week 1 to 3
Become comfortable with the basic techniques and equipment of DJing, and create your first mix from one track to another.
Week 4 to 6
Enhance your understanding of song structure and beatmatching to craft seamless mixes that are not just in sync but in phrase.
Week 7 to 8
Develop an arsenal of distinct digital mixing techniques and gain experience improvising and performing in realistic group settings.
